Jasmine Richards: 2013 Heroes Tribute Gala (@jasminerichards)

Jasmine Richards attended TEMA’s 12th Annual Tribute Gala, held at the Royalton Banquet Hall and Conference Centre in Vaughan, Ontario on February 23, 2013.

Jasmine was a part of the new PSA, bringing awareness to all the heroes who suffer from PTSD. The PSA release was post-poned for a week.

The TEMA Conter Memorial Trust provides confidential crisis support and referral services to everyday heroes such as first responders, correctional officers, nurses, paramedics, firefighters, police officers, military, and communications personnel – and this, all across Canada.

The men and women of our emergency and military services see tragic events every day.  They witness human suffering up close and it sometimes becomes very difficult to cope with the aftermath. Smells, sounds and reliving witnessed events create lasting painful memories that haunt these men and women for life.  It is their legacy for helping others in times of human suffering.
The Tema Conter Memorial Trust was established to end the silence and ease the suffering.
Through research, education, training, and through the provision of peer and psychological support, we aim to help these men and women when they need it most.

Help us, help them.
